Loved this find today – printable Hexi cards from Picklebums. Our shape this month is the hexagon and my group is learning about bees/honeycomb. I like to put out new materials for the magnetic board each month, usually a puzzle from our Mother Goose Time curriculum and I’m always looking for other ideas.
I printed the cards on cardstock, laminated them and added magnets to the back. Fun awaits!
I don’t believe I’ve shared the magnetic board I made last summer. I decided to make the end of the kitchen counter into a magnetic board since it’s right in our day care area and such wasted space otherwise.
My mom works for a company that has a sheet metal shop so I requested and received a piece cut to size! Are those guys awesome or what? (I used to work for that company too. 
) I used a strong glue to glue to the cabinet and then framed & painted it. It came together well and we use it all time.
