Here's the finished gingerbread house. Kira helped me start in on Saturday & I finished it this morning. Brett was too distracted at G & G's to help so it ended up being more for my entertainment! It needs a snowman in the front yard yet but I need to get marshmellows. I like the pinwheel garden in the backyard. Mom had those around the house so we had to use them. The kids think they would like to eat it but so far no one has even touched it!

I love the house!! I tried to make one with the kids last year, it ended up like you being a project I enjoyed. We even decorated a train with ours. Happy Birthday!! Sounds like you had a great weekend!!.
ReplyDeleteThat is AWESOME!!! I love it!! I don't think I have enough patience to make one!!! LOL
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute house, looks like it was a lot of fun to do. I will have to do one with Grant once he is older. I love the snow pictures from the last post...can't wait until Grant gets to see snow for the first time. We arrive in WI on the 24th.
ReplyDeleteIt looks perfect, just like the box! I remember, "back when I was a kid" we had to make gingerbread houses out of graham crackers. Now they even have gingerbread flavored graham crackers.
ReplyDeleteIt turned out great!
